We are the SUNCITY hostel which is legally registered with BUNDABERG city council and located in the middle of BUNDABERG, QLD
We've run hostel as a workplace and hometown for working holiday makers.

At the moment, We need people for cherry tomato picking and packing shed(TREVOR farm)
We've been picked the cherry tomato from Apr. and it will last until the end of December.
After then, there will be work for other crops in a row.

Cherry tomato picking usually works under the bush(in the shadow)
so it's not hot and easy to pick.
And our cherry tomato is bigger than other farm, so it's easy to fill up each bucket.

Work is getting busier and busier and we are short of people, So we are working 7 days per week at the moment.

Depends on the people, people can earn $60~200 per day.

There are a few positions for packing shed little by little, so you can move to shed later.
(packing shed work only can do female)

The rate is $4/bucket
Shed workers earn $700~ 950 per week at the moment.
(Beginner can earn $500~750, have experience or work in shed more than 1-month people can earn $700~900, best worker can earn up to $1100)
Packing shed salary is an hourly / contract depends on crops.
(Ex : big tomato, cherry tomato: hourly / capsicum, zucchini: contract)


We have 10 rooms of 3-dorm and 2 rooms of 4-dorm.
Each room has a toilet, refrige, shower, basin, tv.
And for the communal facility,
we have a ping-pong table, pool table, play station & 48" TV, BBQ, campfire,
large refrigerator, vending machine, goal post.

Rent fee is $130 per week.
The bond is $150, and notice to move out is 2 weeks in advance.
For the picker, there is no transportation fee.
For the packing shed people, need to pay $5 per day.

And we will take you to the biggest shopping center 2 times per week for free.

We will pick you up when you arrive in Bundaberg(QLD) for free.

Around the hostel, there is a riverside and park. So it's the perfect environment for exercise also.
