MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To support the technical communication between our European based Design and Engineering teams and their counterparts in Japan. Translation of technical information relating to automotive electrical parts design and manufacture.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
A level of specialisation is expected in this role; responsibilities will be defined, and will include:
 Real time translation of Engineering and Design meetings held between Europe (In English) and
Japan (In Japanese)
 Technical drawing and specification document translation from Japanese to English
 Window to technical departments based in Japan.
 Communicate requests to colleagues in Japan.
 Carry out other comparable duties as required by the Line Manager

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
 Fluent in written and spoken Japanese.
 Working Level English. (Engineering terminology beneficial)
 Motivation and strong personnel organisation to ensure deadlines are met.
 Be able to communicate effectively at all levels with emphasis on a high degree of Customer
contact/liaison.
 Driving License.
