Canadian Sports Business Academy is seeking a ski instructor for their Whistler operation.
F/T; Permanent; $19.50 per hour; 35-40hrs/week

Duties:

- Provide professional skiing instruction to clients of all ages, levels and abilities throughout the season;
- Ensure safety of clients while on the slopes;
- Teach the safe use and instruction of ski lifts, ski equipment, etc;
- Teach and show clients the marked safe trails and ensure clients do not cross outside of marked trails;
- Ensure clients' equipment is adequate and comfortable;
- Carry out safety procedures in cases of injured clients and perform first aid if necessary;
- Modify lessons to suit clients with special needs;
- Schedule activities with management;
- Provide information on snow sports programs, be a source of information for all resort programs;
- Will be assigned to plan activities and monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities when not instructing;
- Teach techniques and showing demonstration videos in classroom during off seasons.

Requirements:

- Secondary school completion required;
- Must have completed CASI Instructor program OR international equivalent OR a minimum of three years of teaching experience if not in possession of minimum educational credentials
- Must have completed a First Aid training course
- English language is required;
- Japanese language ability is an asset.
