CafeJapaBowl is looking to hire a cook. We are a small authentic Japanese restaurant located in Saskatoon. We are located at 821 Broadway Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7N 1B5.

Title: Cook - Permanent, Full time

Duties:

Inspect all ingredients for quality and freshness;

prepare everything on the menu;

Oversee preparation of all dishes and prioritize orders received in the kitchen;

Maintain records of food and other kitchen equipment supplies;

Coordinate and schedule kitchen staff for shifts and breaks;

provide training to and supervise kitchen staff;

Ensure meals leaving the kitchen are consistent in presentation and quality;

Requirements:

No Education Required

A couple of years of related work experience required.

Primary language is English: be able to communicate in English.

Understanding of Japanese home style food is must.

Experience in Japanese food or in Asian food general is essential.

You must be able to communicate in English. Japanese or Korean is an asset.


Location: City area

Benefits: Vacation pay as governed by the Saskatchewan Employment Act.
