Cook
Full-time, permanent; $14.50 per hour; 40 hours per week
Standard 8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 6am and 7pm as required.
Duties:
- Coordinating and overseeing production staff and cooks in managing the preparation of value-added fully cooked salmon products and smoked products for our foodservice accounts and retail store;
- Ensuring all cooked and prepared food products produced in our facility strictly adhere to recipes and are consistent in quality and presentation;
- Schedule production, order and control inventory of ingredients;
- Assign training duties to various production staff for newly hired employees, and monitor training progress.
Qualifications:
- Secondary school completion preferred;
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
- Japanese language ability is an asset;
- English language ability is required.
