Main Job duties:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Internal financial reporting and cost control, overall responsibility for the financial statement and interaction with external auditors
- Schedule yearly financial audit with external auditors. Prepare necessary paperwork for the yearly financial audit.
- Work with the operations and manufacturing team to develop and maintain product standard and actual costing.
- Analyze and interpret production costs to recommend areas of improvement.
- Examine, record, and summarize a company’s costs, including products and services
- Construct systems to accumulate and monitor data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and analysis
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and cash flow
- Create adhoc financial reports, profit projections and variance analysis
- Create and maintain company’s accounting regulations, policy, procedures, and audit compliance

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Japanese and English
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline, preferably working towards an accounting designation
- Three (3)+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
