Work Hours: Workings hours may vary depending on workload. Overtime work is required during busy seasons (Spring-Summer)
Business trip: Frequent business trips required (NB, PEI, NF), especially from Apr-June.

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Probation period: 3 months
Compensation: $40k - $50k DOE plus bonus depending on your work performance and business trip allowance.
* The client company is willing to sponsor Work Visa for qualified candidates.
* Half of the relocation expenses will be paid by the employer
* Please note a company vehicle will be provided

Main Responsibilities
- B2B sales to maintain existing clients (wholesalers) in accordance with company sales activity goals
- Negotiate pricing and purchase seafood products from vendors
- Inspect seafood products for any defects to meet the company’s standards
- Deal with the staff in factories located in different regions in Canada
- Conduct administrative related job duties for import/export documents
Minimum Requirements
- Sales experience preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Native level of fluency in Japanese both oral and written and business level of English required
- Valid Canadian driver’s license
- High school diploma or higher
- Microsoft Word and Excel – intermediate level
- Goal oriented, self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Physically fit to be able to lift up 40 lbs
- Willingness to be trained, gaining seafood knowledge and learning new skills quickly
- Ability to adapt to & excel in varied environments
- Preference to be given those who are available to work on weekends or overtime in high seasons.(Spring-Summer)
