Laelle Hair Salon & Esthetic Ltd., doing business as Zeal Hair Salon, is looking for a hairstylist for our Richmond Aberdeen Centre location.


Wage: $14.00 oer hour
The position is permanent, F/T (40 hours per week) with shifts scheduled between the hours of 10AM and 9PM.

Duties include:
Regular hairstyling (Shampoo, cut, style, colour, blow-dry, etc.);
Hairstyling for special occasions such as weddings and formal events;
Analyzing hair and scalp conditions before applying products and advising on care methods;
Applying professional hair colour, bleach, and tints;
Creating individual and unique hair designs and styles;
Maintain work stations and sanitizing tools and equipment;
Administer therapeutic scalp and hair treatments as well as performing scalp and neck massage.

Requirements:
Must have completed an apprenticeship or college program in hairstyling plus on the job training or have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience if no formal hairstyling training or education;
Previous experience in formal event hairstyling is an asset;
Japanese language ability is an asset;
English language ability is required.
