Chop N Toss is seeking one Food Counter Attendant and one Kitchen Helper for their Burnaby location.

Salary: Negotiable depends on experience


Food Counter Attendant
Duties:
• Greet customers, take customers' orders, and serve customers at counter
• Operate cash register and handle payment
• Prepare salad, lemonade, and other food items according to recipe
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service
• Package take-out food neatly
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Other related duties as required
Requirement:
• Completion of secondary school is preferred
• English language ability is required
• Ability to work flexible schedules
• Experience as a Food Counter Attendant/food service/customer service will be considered as an asset


Kitchen Helper
Duties:
• Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
• Chop vegetables and fruit, slice meet and cheese, and portion items
• Prepare fresh juice and make steam rice
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
• Maintain all over cleanliness of kitchen and other areas as assigned
• Sweep and mop floors and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
Requirement:
• Able to work independently
• Able to work morning shifts (8am – 4pm)
• Previous kitchen experience is preferred
