Bamboo Shrimp Marketing Ltd. is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee their two downtown Vancouver restaurant locations.

F/T; $22.00 per hour; 40 hours per week (plus extended health and dental benefits after completion of 3 months probation.

Standard 8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9am and 11pm as required.

Duties:

- Oversee operations at two Japanese Restaurants located in downtown Vancouver: “Bentogo” and “Ebiten”
- Maintain safe and efficient operation according to company and provincial policies, procedures, and standards;
- Organize shift schedules, train employees, and evaluate staff performance
- Assign duties to restaurant staff
- Organize restaurant promotions and marketing campaigns
- Handle general customer inquiries or concerns;
-Order and receive merchandises, replenish stocks, sustain sufficient inventories of all ingredients and supplies
- Balance registers and administer cash deposits
- Handle cooking duties as required at either location

Requirements:

- Secondary school completion required
- Must have completed a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related field OR have least 5 years of experience in food preparation or service.
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience is also required.
- Japanese language ability is an asset.
