Job Title: Marketing Assistant (Japanese Speaking)

Duration of employment: 12-15 months contract (Maternity Leave coverage)
Starting Date: August 27, 2018
Location: Downtown Vancouver
Work hours: 9 am - 5 pm, occasionally overtime and travel required
Compensations: CA$40,000 - 45,000 year (DOE)

Main Job duties:
- Frequent interaction with suppliers, customers and logistic providers as well as other offices and divisions within the same organization.
- Research, collect and summarize market & industry intelligence using media and internet sources.
- Translate business documents from English to Japanese and vice versa.
- Data input, documentation and logistic arrangements.
- Administrative support for the team.

Minimum Requirements:
- Previous working experience, prefer in an import/export type organization
- Familiar with logistics arrangements and I/E documentation
- Strong proficiency in English and Japanese. Japanese requires reading and writing at native speaker level or at the minimum, able to translate Japanese business communication to English accurately and corresponding in Japanese with ease.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of multitasking and work well under pressure
- Detailed and well organized
- A team player
- Strong proficiency in MS office
- Experience with SAP an asset
- Valid driver’s license
