Type of role: Permanent (Full Time Role)

Hours: Monday- Friday 37.5hours per week

The Group Accounting Finance Manager that has the ultimate responsible for the production of the monthly Group consolidation, Group and statutory financial statements, and collation of notes in the Annual Report and Interim Results, ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.

Have ultimate ownership of the whole, Production of the monthly Group consolidation, P&L, Balance Sheet and Group management of cash/working capital and preparation of Group Statement of Cash Flows.

Have ultimate responsibility for delivery of consolidated monthly and quarterly management accounts, to Tokyo Headquarter and ownership of the production of the subsidiary statutory accounts.

Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer providing accounting guidance to wider finance teams including preparation of accounting papers for the auditors and Financial Officer. Prepare financial reporting and analysis to the Board, Banks and investors.

• The successful candidate can be Qualified/Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified via experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role and a proven track record of management reporting and managing a small finance team.
• Good business awareness for achieving successful performance
• Good cooperation skills - the ability to both work in and lead a team
• Strong planning and organisational skills to run a streamlined operation
• The ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
• Problem-solving ability, to resolve issues as they arise.

This can be hybrid role, and you maybe in the office 2-3 days a week, working from home the rest of the time. Japanese language is an essential requirement.
