Working Location: The Gardens South Tower, KL

As we are a software/system house and working on various projects from Japan and our clients are in a wide range of the industry, you need to understand the nature of our clients’ business needs and some technical terms to work on the translation and interpretation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate (from Japanese to English) basic requirements provided by the Japan office and explain to members in Malaysia office.
• Work on document translation such as project kick off document, workflow, screen definition, schedule, function lists, XD and so on.
• Able to support large scale projects in addition to daily translation tasks, ability to adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Interact with the clients, project managers and developers on their communication and progress management.
• Coordinate and attend daily and weekly meeting. Work on interpretation, facilitation and taking minutes to record on the ticketing system.
• Adapt using tools Slack, Redmine, Github, Backlog, Jira, Cacao, Chatwork that are used in the software development environment.
• Create the test specification and conduct quality check together with senior engineers and project managers.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and Japanese
• Be able to adapt to or familiar with Japanese business culture and etiquette as you will be working with Japanese office staff and Japanese clients.
• Self-management skill
• Strong organiation skills and attention to detail
• Willing to learn new things
• Being proactive and supportive
• A team player and being supportive

• Adapt using tools such as Slack, Redmine, GitHub, Backlog, Jira, Cacoo, Chatwork used in the software development environment.
• Create the test specifications and conduct quality checks together with senior engineers and project managers.
• Other duties as assigned.
