Role/Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate and annotate data for accuracy to build and train speech and language models
- Work with Japanese business partners/vendors
- Language translation, editing and annotation
- Refine language quality testing, verification and administration procedures
- Manage milestones, meet deadlines and communicate status
- Provide input and guide decisions for our system’s features
- Work with teams responsible for building our tools to improve the accuracy and quality of our data

You Must Be:
- Eligible to work in the US
- Native and fluent in Japanese
- Proficient in English
- Experienced as a data evaluator or working with training data for machine learning
- Extremely focused and enjoy completing detailed, repetitive data quality verification tasks daily, at a high quality level
- Flexible and collaborative, but you can also work independently and enjoy taking on new tasks
- Accountable

Its Beneficial If You Have:
- Completed formal language studies, have a language or linguistics degree or equivalent experience
- Data curation or software QA experience
- Experience working with Japanese business partners/vendors
- Software programming experience or have taken software courses
- Project management/coordination experience
- Experience with Google Docs, Excel and Jira
- An interest in music and in solving puzzles!
