Artist: Mali (Maalavika Manoj) from India
Mali is the alias of Maalavika Manoj, independent folk and country singer/songwriter from Mumbai, India.
Having recently shifted to Mumbai city, Maalavika Manoj is currently collaborating with some of the independent scene's biggest artists, all while trying to find her own sound and inspiration for her new material. She has also lent her voice to movie soundtracks composed by the likes of world famous Indian composers like AR Rahman, Harris Jayaraj and Anirudh. After the release of her debut album Deceptive (2013), Mali has gone on to perform with some of the biggest artists from the independent scene in India, including Sapta, Dharavi Rocks, Tejas, Usha Uthup and has even collaborated with Dualist Inquiry.
She is the process of launching her debut EP titled 'Rush', and wants to take her music to a worldwide audience.
