Ramen Bankara is a Japanese Franchised restaurant and we are seeking experienced and well presented Chef and kitchen hands to join the team in Melbourne CBD and Westfield Doncaster. We are in search of candidates with dynamic personalities that can handle the pressure of working in a busy environment.
Chef:
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Food preparation and cooking
• Food quality control
• Staff Management
• Oversee kitchen operation
• Stock take and management
• Overall cleaning duties
• Complying with all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a good relationship with colleagues
• Maintaining good attitude at work
Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant highly regarded
• Work well as a team and as an individual
• “Can do” positive attitude
• Ability to work at a good and consistent speed
• Responsible, Reliable and punctual
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Problem solving and crisis management skills
• Possession of Food Safety certificate is an advantage
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role
Although experience is highly regarded, training may be provided for the right candidate.
