Statista is searching for Online Editor/ Online Content Creator for Japanese contents!

Your tasks
• Supporting the design and implementation of a content marketing website, catering to our Japanese-speaking business users
• Development of an editorial plan to build up and promote Statista's Japanese-language web presence
• Creating and reviewing processes for the production and coordination of editorial content
• Writing editorial articles and creating engaging content in Japanese following a data-storytelling narrative
• Acquiring and communicating in-depth knowledge of key industries in the Japanese market
• Monitoring, evaluation, and optimization of SEO performance
• Close co-operation with internal stakeholders

Your profile
• Successful completion of undergraduate studies, preferably with a background in data-storytelling or online content creation
• Exceptional written and spoken Japanese skills on a near-native or native level, with a very good feeling for language and tonality in Japanese
• Preferable earlier editorial writing experience in Japanese (If available, please send us samples)
• Strong understanding of target group needs
• Familiar with website and SEO management, preferably localized SEO knowledge
• Previous content management experience a plus
• General knowledge of Japan and the Japanese market
• Ability to describe complicated data in a concise and comprehensible manner
• Structured, organized, and independent working style with attention to quality, detail, and accuracy
• Good command of spoken English
• Remote work is also possible from either Berlin or Düsseldorf, but willingness to travel from will be necessary
